moved the "sh sh" over to sidewind, it got annoying real quick on the xxx string.
forgot to show: running upper "right uppercut!".
strike buff "i'm only getting started!" might switch to "i'll go with all my might!".
heal "concentrate concentrate!". also jump attack, outta mana, and cooldown grunt noises.
i have the 2nd awakening audio ready for when i hit 85 (76 right now T__T) have plans for the 2nd awakening animation to match the audio aswell
also need to work on sprites at some point, that's gunna take a shit ton of time to finish!
actually the dempsey roll audio has it's own file if you wanna mess around with that in the mean time lol
oh and i got plans for the totem pole sprite, anyone who watched the show should know where i'm going with this XD

Most of the voice packs done by other people have like 5-10 voice clips re-used for the 30+ voice clips a dfo character has. Which gets annoying real fast to say the least. Dfo chars have more voices than you'd think. The ippo pack has about 55 unique voice clips just for the monk!
To put it in perspective, i had to watch roughly 19 solid hours of hajime no ippo before i recorded enough audio to comfortably work with (plus i kept getting headaches/nausea trying to watch my fav show and stay focused on voice collecting at the same time).
With 19 hours i managed to record about 30 minutes worth of clips from the show that i felt clean enough to use.
After going through my 30 minutes I managed to squeeze out roughly 100-150 voice clips, totaling roughly 1 minute of audio.
After going through my 1 minute of 150 clips i finally ended up with the 55 clips needed to complete the monk pack, every clip unique and without any background noise in them, which was a miracle considering 95% of his punches thrown had that huge impact sound effect right in the middle of them!
It took me a couple months to finish the ippo pack just because monks have a ton of audio flies and ippo had way too many sound effects ruining the clips. The awakening picture/ 2nd animation took time too.
It only took a few days to do the hollow ichigo pack because (thank god) most of the hollow scenes had clean enough audio to use, and berserks have way less audio files than monks. I only had to watch a few episodes to get what i needed.
tldr; It's up to lady luck if the content i'm ripping from is clean enough to use and abundant enough to cherry pick from. The number of audio files a dfo character has + the amount of air time an anime character has, or if there's any other content to rip him from (one piece games ect.) will decide how much time i need to put into compiling a voice pack that doesn't make your ears bleed.
Not to mention hand drawing the 197 character sprites is going to take an ungodly amount of hours to finish.
here's everything being used in the ippo pack currently. got another folder full that didn't make the cut aswell.

Have you tried looking into the One Piece DS games? Sound files are usually easy to rip from DS games, and even if they do use another file structure I believe some of them have an ingame voice previews anyway.
Holy moly bro a couple of months just to finish the ippo voice pack ? that's a ton of work … i hope it won't that hard for sanji cause he doesn't have a lot of fights anyway also for the avatar it looks perfect and for his forearms the guy spend all his time lifting & cooking those giant sea kings so its normal xD

Thankfully, there was a function added to DNFE while DFO was gone that would hopefully allow people to make their own recolors now.
Still requires extraction though, but no Photoshop at least.

If you already have the .nds, I can PM you a simple .exe that extracts NDS sound files, just gimmeh some time to find it.

i'm thinking about hiding the boxing gloves and reverting him back to only using his legs like m.fighter did when it first came out (sanji never uses his fists, it's a chef thing =P)

the sound mods work without any tampering, so feel free to skip this step if you only want to use music/voice mods.
the image mods (avatars and anything image related) will require this extra step:
once that's done, you shouldn't have any problems for now on, but just in case you do:
***This may cause an error the next time the game tries patching an update. Just undo this step and the client should continue the updates without issue. Remember to re-do the steps to get mods working again. (thnx jojo)***
please bear in mind neople probably added this file because they didn't want us dicking around with their steeze.
though with that said i've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for cosmetic stuff like this. neople has much bigger fish to fry, and frankly mods like this are the only reason some of my friends are even playing this game.
note that denying those stuff before updating the game will cause an error to apprear during the update so you won't be able to complete it .we will probably have to check & uncheck those before every update

So i followed all the steps, and yes i got my hud but colored skill icons arent showing up… any idea whats could be missing/doing this?

That so called NpkIndex.etc file isn't even in my ImagePacks2 folder. I can't find it anywhere. Any help?
It's not an NPK. It's an ETC file and it should be at the top of the list.
Those files are from Alpha testing.
I dunno. If you're playing, the patcher should've patched in NPKIndex and it would've updated those files.
Are you able to use mods in that folder? 'Cuz if you are, I see no point in downloading the files again.

there was also a file inside that got messed up, i don't think it was an important file but i recommend replacing it anyways.
also ichigo's sword wll be a little while, the game reads files differently so i have to swap every sword by hand.

it took me over an hour just to swap every greatsword sprite. i'll do the rest of the swords when i regain my sanity >.<
been testing different berserker 2nd awakenings for the ichigo pack, which one you guys like the most?
i was thinking of using the 2nd one and adding more shading+eye glow so it looks as bad ass as the first one.
i also just remembered there's a way to have both ippo's and ichigo's 1st awakening sprites in the imagepacks folder without combining them into 1 file. i'll update those soon for anyone that wants both in the game at the same time.
i'm going to see if i can find the skill recolors that you see in the sound pack preview video too, so i can add those to the pack. i want to redo all the skills to look more like cero's/getsuga tensho's and shit eventually.

i was really liking it until i actually ran a dungeon, by the end of it i was sick of it. something about the x string audio being randomized, it just didn't sit well with my ears.
i think i'm going to put them all in the ichigo pack so people can switch it up whenever =)
also i recommend checking the 2nd awaken test video out in 1080p full screen. only a few of those were high enough quality to match the games resolution, so that might affect your choice later on.
also i just remembered, these files will be converted to 16 bit in game, so it will be massively lower quality than what you see lol.
just change the hat and re color and im pretty sure it would be close to Garp
do that for the other pr_attk ogg's and you're golden.
i only put 2 "sh" sounds in there so if you want all the x strings to be "sh" you're gunna need more files
Is there any ideas why the female fighter mods won't work? They just end up being a base of the actual character.
are you injecting the mod yourself with dnfe? copy/pasting someone else's mod into imagepacks? how old is it?
Plus, it's with every mod for the female fighter. It just causes them to look naked with no skin at all.

In your NPKIndex guide, I think you should enlarge the size of the bolded text at the bottom.
Make it massive.
I have a problem installing sprite mods, I went into properties opened the security and denied everything on all of the options but in doing so it just removes all of the files under ImagePacks2 folder and wont let me open the folder anymore, I managed to revert what I did but then how can I intall mods without it removing everything? I’m using Windows 8 doing everything as admin I dont know if that helps This is the message I get before after hitting “Apply” when disabling everything
i avoid windows 8 like the plague so this is out of my realm…
Did you make sure you only blocked NPKIndex and not the entire folder?

I tried installing the Angelic HUD that I got from DFO Nexus, but the Hp and Mana bars are off to the side. I tried re installing them 3 times already. Am I retarded?

Do you have any idea what files the Fstrikers Stampede effect is? I've figured out that ground below her and 2-3 parts of stampede are all separate files but don't know what's what.
I have no video or screen shots of that mod or any of the other secret friday mods, and ALL my work is long gone, I rage deleted it when nexon dfo went down, unless…my old uploads are still…well shit I'm gonna have to look into that now…

For odd conversion jobs i use http://download.cnet.com/FormatFactory/3000-2194_4-10968547.html, i havn’t updated it in 3 years though so don’t download it if it looks like it wants to install additional junk now. You can turn just about any file type into .mp3 or whatevs with this, it’s slighty higher quality than using audacity to record the audio, but i use audacity anyways cuz it’s faster =P

I Noticed that some of the sprites are not visible on certain skills and motions for the Monk Ippo mod. Some example would be the walking animation and Megaton Punch maybe a bit more. Still the Video and music is great and I’ve been eyeing this mod for a while now because it fits so damn well with the monk style.

thank god our version uses 32bit awakenings instead of that garbage 16bit Cdnf uses for no reason.
also our version has no missing frames so it's smoother than Cdnf's =D

(if you haven't changed any file names, these have a higher load priority than the old files, so you can just drag and drop if you're feeling lazy)

Do you think you'll be able to do monk sprites to turn him into Akihiko Sanada?. Most of the animations are the same or at least would fit.

edit: nvm i found one
he'll definitely look out of place since the sprites are such high resolution, but he has pretty much every image you'd need for a monk conversion.

After I set Authenticated Users to “read Only” this appeared and the HUD mod doesnt work :c

frankensteining avatars is always the worst part >.<
Tooters, I have a question. on an average, how long would you say the frankensteining process takes?
Erron Black is going to take at least twice as long as my Dante avatar pack, but i'm guessing 3 days for this one if i spend a good 3-4 hours a day on it.
there's no guarantee they will look right once everything is put together as well, since i can't really see the whole animation in action untill it's finished, so i could have to start over again with some pieces…

sorry it’s not done yet boys, male slayer avatars are a nightmare to work with. neople put the wrist chain on the skin file, so when i removed it i found out they cut holes in every goddamn avatar in order to make them show up. so now i have to hand paint all these avatars to fill in the chain holes.
that sounds like soul suicide, Toots. Bless your soul and take a vacation after you finish. you deserve one.

Wow…that was awesome lol makes me want to make a Slayer. It would be something if you made a Tifa mod for F fighters. Again great work man a lot of hard work went into this a such precision in every animation. 10/10 from me.
i just found out the new one piece game will be available for pc, so there’s a chance i might finally get to work on those one piece conversions

So, is there a way to have two voice packs active at once?
Dumb as it is, I wanna combine the cancel the formation mod with the you bitch mod for a truly dank korean ranger experience.
the game loads up files from the top of the folder downwards, so if it looks like this in your Soundpacks:
you would have to open up (mod 1).npk, and remove whatever you want to be heard in (mod 2).npk
so if (mod 2) has YOU BITCH!, you'd find whatever that file name is in (mod 1), check box it, and right click -> remove, so the game see's that it's missing and loads it up from the next file down (mod 2).
wow rough day for mods >.<
