Lightsaber/Katana - Either Full Illusion of the Nine Winds or 6/9 Afterimage and Cataclysm of Magic, no questions asked. The Chron Set and how good it works with Illusion Sword Dash and Dragon Charge (if you get Ice Dragon's Fury, that is), makes it necessary.

Short Sword - If you went full Flowing Stance, I'd say Space Lord (because Flowing Stance + Short Sword is just ridiculous), but I'd say 6/9 Over Shoulder Crasher or Illusion of the Nine Winds + Cataclysm of Magic (I hope you're seeing a pattern here).

Bludgeon - 6 or 9 set of Shock Emission (in my opinion). I don't know Blunts, so I can't say the same.

Zanbato - RIP, don't know lol.

Also 9/9 enigmatic Swordsman is also nice for the Overdrive, I know few WM's who took it with Ancient Ruins lightsaber for the Overdrive buff after it became pure Physical Damage buff to Skill damage buff.

Zanbato's saving grace is that its draw sword can nearly decimate anything because of the damage it gives when charged, so naturally a 9 piece for thousand sword warrior would work best for people that use Zanbato.

On a side note, i found it really fun using 3 pc afterimage of the wind set when i used my zanbato, it made me feel a lot faster than anyone using a zanbato normally feels, so maybe a mixture of this could come into play, but i dont see anything that could really beat getting super armor when charging draw sword, and that draw sword cooldown resets when you use your 70 ex.

You could literally use draw sword, then lightning draw sword, and then draw sword again.

    Nothing would survive it.

But what if someone doesn't go stance build and Bludgeon?...
Then again, that just sounds stupid to be honest because Clash is just so good with bludgeon. I used Bludgeon as a side weapon instead of a main weapon so I don't know.

If you're using bludgeon without a stance build, you're using it wrong l0l. Here's a video of Space Lord + Blud

I'm gonna assume everyone should have 9pc Flawless Technique for Overdrive Swap? Damn that's 5 sets I want to get now.

Not really, the main important set is your weapon's best one.

Flawless Technique is 2nd important priority after your Illusion/Space Lord/etc.

I'm getting 4/9 and 5/9's on Illusion/Space/etc. And getting awfully pissed that I'm not getting pieces I want...

Got an Afterimage of the Wind belt and bracelet yesterday. Hype!
I'm kind of wanting to wait before finishing my OV3 feat for the necklace to see if I can get a set one (or two) to drop first.
But in any case, I have enough fragments for two more pieces right now. So... SIX PIECE. SOON™. HOPEFULLY.

Hey, quick question. On some sets you need to go 9pc for the set to be good, like with Afterimage or Thousand Sword. Am I right in my understanding it's best to leave Magic Stone out of the equation in favor of +Element Stones?

I'm gonna be a special snowflake and go Thousand Sword Warrior on my Lightsabre Omniblade, I already have 6pc set bonus and I'm loving it. I'm trying to get Kiri to love me for once and poop out a +11 Zanbato for me. So far no such luck.

Just remember that the 3000% extra range only works for Lightsabres and it will be removed later on.

Yeah I planned on going Katana/Sabre for abnormal status proc everywhere, but I guess now I'm gonna need a Katana/Zanbato.

But about the glitched range, I just tested it out in the training hall and the range seems basically the same for both my Zanbato and my Lightsabre. Is it really glitched then?

You can't actually see the range. Walk REALLY far from your target and switch to the Lightsabre.

I did, and with all of my weapons the range felt basically the same.

Edit: wait nevermind, I see the difference now. It's not that much but in a controlled enviroment I can see it now.

What. Did you say "not that much"? It's 3000% percent range; are we speaking of the same thing?
