    • Amplified taken damage has been decreased from 25% to 10%.
    Elemental Burn
    • Intelligence increment has been decreased (397 to 199 at Level 20 with 4 Runes).
    • Skill Damage increment has been increased (14% to 21% at Level 20 with 4 Runes).
    Fire Pillar
    • Skill Effect has been reworked.
    • Attack Range has been set to Max Level standard.
    The Void
    • Void Size has been set to Max Level standard.
    • Attack Damage has been set to maximum damage output regardless of charging.
    • The ability to gather enemies has been removed.
    • The chance of King Void appearing has been removed.
    Sun Burst
    • Sun Burst Size has been set to Max Level standard.
    Ice Walls
    • Attack Damage has been increased by 6%.

    Elemental Mastery

    Black Hole
    • Attack Damage has been increased by 5%
    • Skill Effect has been reworked.
    • Multi-Hit count has been decreased from 17 to 15.
    • Attack Damage has been set to maximum damage output regardless of charging.
    • Duration has been set to 7.2 seconds.
    • The ability to detonate Black Hole by pressing the Skill Key again has been added.
    • Post-Delay has been decreased.
    Halloween Buster
    • Skill Acquirement Level has been increased from 35 to 45.
    • SP Cost has been increased from 40 to 60.
    • Cooltime has been increased from 15 to 45 seconds.
    • Clear Cube Fragment consumption has been increased from 1 to 2.
    • Skill Effect has been reworked.
    • Attack Damage has been adjusted due to the change in Skill Acquirement Level.
    • Attack Damage has been set to maximum damage output regardless of charging.
    Astral Storm
    • Attack Damage has been set to 15%.
    • Initial Crystal has been changed to drop in front of the character.
    • The ability to activate the final Crystals by pressing the Jump Key has been added.
    • Increase in Cooltime depending on Weapon Type not taking effect has been fixed.
    • Showtime's Cooltime reduction will no longer apply.
    Elemental Curtain (New Level 60 Active)
    • Replaces `Shining Ice Fence`.
    • Create a magic pentacle of elemental light in front of the Elementalist to damage (Multi-Hit) any enemies that touches it.
    • Elemental light will eventually crystallize and shatter to damage any nearby enemies.
    Elemental Quake (New Level 70 Active)
    • Replaces `Flame Void Volcano`
    • Create a magic pentacle in front of the Elementalist to split the earth with powerful earthquake.
    • Any enemies within the earthquake range will be put into a `Hold` while damaging them at a regular interval and finished with a powerful explosion from the ground.
    • Elementalist may not cast other skills or move while Elemental Quake is activated and will be allowed by move right before the explosion.
    Elemental Potential
    • Change `Lightning Strike`, `Arctic Burst`, `Black Hole`, and `Halloween Buster` specific Elemental Damage type to All Elemental Damage types.
    • Change Skill Effects of `Lightning Strike`, `Arctic Burst`, `Black Hole`, and `Halloween Buster`.
    • Mini-Halloween Buster feature has been removed.
    • Increase Halloween Buster Size feature has been added.
    • Decrease Arctic Burst Attack Range feature has been removed.
    • Increase Black Hole Duration feature has been removed.
    • Halloween Buster and Black Hole Attack Damage increment has been adjusted (30% at Level 6).
    Transcendence Rune
    • SP Cost has been decreased from 80 to 0.
    • Master Level has been changed from 10 to 1.
    • Max Level has been changed from 20 to 11.
    • Skill Effects has been adjusted due to the change in Master Level.
    • Rune Activation Process has been changed.

    Transcendence Crystal (New Level 75 Active)
    • Create a magic pentacle in front of the Elementalist to generate Transcendence Crystals.
    • Crystals will gradually get bigger and explode when it reaches the maximum size to hurt nearby enemies with a powerful Magical Damage.
    • Magic Pentacle Range and Crystal Size can be increased by charging the skill to increase the overall Attack Range.
    The Gate
    • Attack Damage has been increased by 19%
    Sesto Elemento
    • Attack Damage has been increased by 43%
    • Skill Effect has been changed.
    • Sesto Elemento can now be applied by Mobile Cast (No Invincibility during Mobile Cast).
    • Sesto Elemento activation point has been changed from the center of the map to the front of the Elementalist.
    • Attack Damage has been set to maximum damage output regardless of charging.

    • Attack Cooltime will no longer decrease despite the increase in Skill Level.
    • Attack Cooltime has been adjusted.
    Summoner Cloth Armor Mastery
    • Casting Speed bonus has been decreased from 50% to 30%.
    Lasher
    • No longer hitstun friendly Summoned Monsters.
    • Additional effect has been added for targeting friendly Summoned Monsters successfully.
    • Buff can given to Summoned Monsters only as a Summoner.
    • Strength, Hostility, and Attack Chance bonus skill effects has been removed.
    • Skill Level Acquirement Interval has been increased from 2 to 3.
    • Buff can also be given to allies with Invincibility.
    Lasher Upgrade
    • Buff and Duration bonus skill effects has been removed.
    • The ability to provide Abnormal Status immunity for a period of time has been added.
    Summoner's Train
    • Master Level has been changed from 10 to 1.
    • Max Level has been changed from 20 to 11.
    • Cooltime has been decreased from 5 to 1 second.
    • Skill Duration has been changed to Unlimited Duration.
      • Skill will change to ON/OFF state whenever the skill is activated.
    • Ability bonus from taking damage has been removed.
    Wait!
    • Command has been added.
    Communion (New Level 15 Passive)
    • Command Contract Summoned Monsters.
    • Amount of Contract Summoned Monster types that can be commanded will increase along with Skill Level.
    • Additional Pattern can be activated by pressing the Summoned Monster's Skill Key again after summoning them.
      • Additional Pattern has a separate Cooltime, MP Consumption, and Clear Cube Fragment Consumption.
      • Activating the Pattern while holding Down-Arrow Key will teleport the Summoned Monster to the Summoner.
    • Skill Icon color will change when Additional Pattern is available.
    • Summoned Monster Skill and Additional Pattern Cooltime can both be seen if Skill Cooltime Alarm is used.
    • If the Cooltime resets, both Summoned Monster Skill and Additional Pattern Cooltime will reset as well.

    Eclipse's Hive
    • Following feature has been added.

    Ring of Domination (New Level 60 Active)
    • Summon a forbidden artifact known as the Ring of Domination to dominate all Summoned Monsters.
    • Summoned Monsters summoned through Ring of Domination will bypass Casting and Summoned Monsters will be immediately summoned.
      • Cannot summon `Conqueror Kasijas` or `War Maiden Ramos`.
    • Amount of allowed summon and Duration has already been set.
    Legendary Summon: The Moonshade
    • Skill has gone through a renewal.
    • Summon `The Moonshade` in front of the Summoner.
    • Eclipse (蝕) will explode above the Moonshade and hurt any nearby enemies.
    • Moonshade will spread to friendly Summoned Monsters in range.
    Dark Moon
    • Dark Moon HP will recover whenever friendly Summoned Monsters affected by the Moonshade is hit.
    Summon Lesser Spirit (New Level 15 Active)
    • Basic Summoner Skill which is given automatically upon Class Advancing.
    • Summon all 4 Lesser Spirits at once.
    • Level of the following skills will increase along with this skill.
      • Lesser Spirit: Naias
      • Lesser Spirit: Ador
      • Lesser Spirit: Wisp
      • Lesser Spirit: Stalker
    • Amount of Lesser Spirit summoned at once has been decreased from 3 to 1.

    • The ability to increase the maximum amount of Lesser Spirit summoned at once has been removed.
    • The ability to increase Lesser Spirit Attack Damage has been added.
    • TP Cost has been decreased from 3 to 2.
    Spirit Sacrifice
    • Following skills has been removed and related effects has been combined with `Spirit Sacrifice`.
      • Ador Sacrifice
      • Naias Sacrifice
      • Stalker Sacrifice
      • Wisp Sacrifice
    • The ability to increase the maximum amount of Lesser Spirit summoned at once from each passive has been removed.
    • Holding down the Skill Key will teleport the Lesser Spirit to the Summoner and explode.
    • The ability to decrease Elemental Resistance has been removed.
    • Abnormality in Attack Damage upon acquiring `Spirit Sacrifice Upgrade` has been fixed.
    Greater Spirit: Aquarius
    • Icicle Missile Creation Speed has been increased.
    • Icicle Missile will have a separate Attack Damage.
    • No longer require Lesser Spirit to summon Aquarius.
    Greater Spirit: Flame Hulk
    • Doppelganger pattern has been removed.
    • Flame Cleaver will have a separate Attack Damage.
    • No longer require Lesser Spirit to summon Flame Hulk.
    Greater Spirit: Glaerin
    • Triple Lightning Strike patter has been changed to Lightning Strike pattern.
    • Cast a magic pentacle ahead.
    • Drop a huge thunderbolt where the magic pentacle is located.
    • No longer require Lesser Spirit to summon Glaerin.
    Greater Spirit: Dead Murker
    • Dark Swarm will no longer be affected by objects and it will always do identical Multi-Hit instead.
      • Maximum of 6 hits.
    • Dark Swarm will have a separate Attack Damage.
    • No longer require Lesser Spirit to summon Dead Murker.
    Spirit Lord: Echeverria
    • Clear Cube Fragment Consumption has been decreased from 3 to 1.
    • Spirit Absorption pattern has been removed.
    • Summoned Creature Aura pattern has been changed.
      • Increase friendly Summoned Monster's Independent Attack.
      • The ability to increase friendly Summoned Monster's Attacking and Moving speed has been removed.
      • Increase Attack Damage depending on amount of nearby friendly Summoned Monsters.
        • Increase Attack Damage by 15% per friendly Summoned Monster.
          • Maximum of 30%
      • Electric Laser will have a separate Attack Damage.
    Common Spirit
    • Following skills have been removed.
      • Common Spirit: Ratria
      • Common Spirit: Selist
      • Common Spirit: Alicia
      • Common Spirit: Sheyd
    Common Spirit: Fusion Spirit Heillom (New Level 60 Active)
    • Has an appearance of all Fire, Water, Light, and Shadow elements.
    • Has the ability to increase Summoner's All Elemental Damage.
    • Eclipse's Hive Additional Pattern - Invisible
      • Fusion Spirit Heillom will start praying.
      • Friendly Summoned Monsters will become invisible (and invincible) for a period of time.
      • This pattern can be activated while Quick Standing.
    Contract Summoned Monsters
    • Skill Duration has been changed to Unlimited Duration.
    • Cooltime has been set to 10 seconds.
    • MP will continuously be consumed to maintain the Summoned Monsters.
    Contract: Hodor
    • Dot has gone through a renewal.
    • Stone Throw Speed has been increased.
    • Bomb will instantly explode if it makes contact with an enemy.
    • `Communion` Additional Pattern has been added.
      • Club Smash
        • Hodor rushes forward to a certain amount of distance.
        • Smash the club downward 3 times if Hodor encounters an enemy and end with a powerful finisher.
    Contract: Freet
    • `Communion` Additional Pattern has been added.
      • Dragon Fear
        • Freet will roar to cause a shockwave and damage any nearby enemies with Multi-Hit.
    Contract: Black Knight Sandor
    • Dot has gone through a renewal.
    • Protection, Provoke and Defense Aura has been combined with Protection Aura.
    • Thrust lower Z-range has been increased.
    • `Communion` Additional Pattern has been added.
      • Sword Force
        • Sandor gathers energy into his sword.
        • Sandor rushes forward and launch the Energy Sword.
    Contract: Hellflower Aukuso
    • Maximum Summon Count has been decreased from 2 to 1.
    • MP Consumption has been increased.
    • Seed pattern has been removed.
    • Aukuso will follow the Summoner when she switch rooms.
    • Aukuso will dig through earth and pop back up where the Summoner is located whenever `Mass Teleport` is activated.
    • `Communion` Additional Pattern has been added.
      • Impale
        • Aukuso will dig through earth and pop back up where the Summoner is located.
        • Roots will be thrust into the earth and create a magic pentacle under the enemy.
        • Gigantic thorn will appear from the magic pentacle and impale enemies.
    Contract: Hellflower Aukuso Upgrade
    • TP Cost has been decreased from 3 to 2.
    • Following features has been removed.

    • Can only be used while `Tau King Kruta` is summoned.
    • Tau King Kruta will fall into rage and hitstun nearby enemies.
    • Smash down his axe quickly 4 times to lift enemies into air and harm them.
    • Powerfully smash down once more to target a wide area.
    Legendary Summon: War Maiden Ramos
    • Cycle (蝕旋) pattern will change from Basic Pattern to Additional Pattern of Eclipse's Hive.
    • Dominion (蝕旋) pattern will change from Additional Pattern of Eclipse's Hive to Basic Pattern.
    • Dominion (蝕旋) pattern will no longer absorb enemies.
    • Increase Attack Damage depending on amount of nearby friendly Summoned Monsters.
      • Maximum of 15%
    Plunge (New Level 85 Active)
    • Level of this skills will increase along with `Legendary Summon: War Maiden Ramos`.
    • Ramos rises towards the Moon and become Eclipse (蝕).
    • Eclipse (蝕) will gnaw on enemies and put them in `Super Hold`.
    • Eventually Eclipse (蝕) will return to Full Moon and trigger Multi-Hit.
    • When Eclipse (蝕) ends, Ramos will return to her former state and fall back down to earth.
    Etc
    • Contract: Black Knight Sandor Green Dimensional Aura effect has been changed to decrease Protection Aura Cooltime.
    • Spirit Sacrifice Green Dimensional Aura effect has been changed to increase Attack Damage and decrease Cooltime.
    • Summon Monster Purification Blue Dimensional Aura effect has been changed to Spirit Sacrifice effect.
    • High Tech Magic Ring effect has been changed from `+1 Contract: Black Knight Sandor` to `+1 Zealous Creature`
    • If there are more Summoned Monsters than the maximum amount, Summoned Monsters will be removed to accomodate the limit.
      • Summoned Monsters will less Duration left will be prioritized.

    the only thing i can sense negativity from is probably the loss of flame volcano
    but with the 3 new skills 1 being a hold and the fusion of Elemental masteries i would hope it more than makes up the damage difference everyone has been used to.
    Don't know what anyone would dis-like about summoner.

    The problem about combining the masteries is that they also halved the damage that it gives.
    And the biggest loss is both the loss of FVV combined with the loss of snapshotting.
    So as a result, the base Elementalist is stronger, but Elementalists with snapshot gear got weaker.
     
  5. Just out of curiosity, how many viable damage skills did ele have before rework? I know she had void, fvv, and gate, but dg meta and elemental masteries means that she had at least one or two less cube skills than most other classes.
     
  6. Oh, Neople somehow must've seen our EB wishlist and gave us some of them: speed increase on 1A and 2A, larger dark zone and flame circle (with dark eyes spell canceling). Though, removing activation speed on Convergence Cannon's a nerf. Moving 20% cast speed from cloth mastery to a passive skill is nice since there's a bunch of good non-cloth 90 armors. I wonder how long the bonus attack damage on level 9 1A wasn't working.

So pre-rework she'd have those five skills, post rework she loses fvv but gains lightning strike, halloween buster, arctic burst (as actual viable dmg spells due to them taking on the all-ele property), the two new ex skills and the new 75 active. Maybe that was the idea behind this rework? I don't play ele so I'm not sure, but it seems that way from where I'm standing.

    The problem with the two replacement skills is elemental curtain does absolutely no damage, and elemental quake is channeled, so you can't cast more spells during it.
    In addition, to show how much we were able to benefit from snapshotting before, I'd like to show the maximum damage we could make Sesto do before and after the change.

  11. The second damage chart you showed me doesn't even have the 2 ex skills (or lightning call) on it. Regardless, I tallied up the total damage of the skills. 1st chart shows 7,932,181,954 damage and the second chart totals 6,887,225,161. So the curtain, quake, and lightning call would have to do a little over 1 bil dmg combined to make up the difference, which I'd be surprised if they couldn't manage that. IIRC, the values shown in the test server for curtain and quake were 27k~% and 37k~% respectively. Quake especially has low damage for its cd, I'll agree, considering new buster hits for 60k~%. But I'm questioning whether or not the total damage of ele's rotation has increased when factoring in all the other skills she can use.

    Although the snapshotting nerf is awful. I hope they fix that or at least up the numbers.

    We're limited on the SP remaining to invest in curtain and quake. However, quake does about as much damage as arctic circle and curtain does ~80% of quake. So I guess you could add another 800-900 mil onto the after. However, the before damage test did not take advantage of snapshotting. So I believe that those numbers would be much higher had they have used snapshotting. Also, for some reason, they didn't use arctic circle in the before testing. I dunno. I wish people tested damage with more things controlled.

    Lightning strike is not regarded as a damage skill. And we definitely don't have SP to invest into lightning strike for it to do meaningful damage.

    And just for reference with other mDPS classes, mNen can do 4 bil with his 2a with no swapping and the same testing environment as this ele TAT

    Oh yeah, and they'll never give us back snapshotting, since neople hates the mechanic
