    Airbis recently showcased a male launcher with the following Laser setting participating in Anton Raid:

    I guess it goes to show that Laser setting can be pretty damn powerful, even though he does have triple support setup with F grap, F nen and Sader.

    Google translated the MLauncher changes on the test server:

    Launcher (M)
    * BBQ
    - Attack 30% increase .

    * M-1 flamethrower
    - Attack 30% increase .

    * Cannon Ball
    - Attack 22% increase .

    * Steyr
    - Attack 24% increase .

    * Laser Rifle
    - Attack 31% increase .

    * Flame Pillar
    - Attack 22% increase .

    * FM-92 Stinger
    - Attack 29% increase .

    * FM-31 grenade launcher
    - Attack 29% increase .

    * Quantum Bomb
    - Attack 29% increase .

    * X-1 extruder
    - Attack 29% increase .

    * Satellite beam
    - Attack 38% increase .

    * Arctic Booster
    - Attack 26% increase .

    * FM-92 Stinger SW
    - Attack 30% increase .

    * Seismic Wave
    - Attack 29% increase .

    * Buster Beam
    - Attack 54% increase .

    * Miracle vision
    - Heavy weapons attack power increased growth
    - Master at 25% → 35%
    If it's assumed monster HP is going to increase 30%, then these are fairly unexciting changes save for Buster Beam and EE, but it's certainly great to not be left out of the balance patch!

    Also of note is that Gunner weapons in general have been buffed:
    * Gunner / thief weapon damage is raised .
    - Gunner physical damage of the weapons , the magic attack is upward .
    - Apply Weaponry : revolvers , automatic pistols , bowoogeon , meoseuket , Hand Cannon

    And that FLauncher got a buff that wasn't mirrored over:

    charge laser scales weird, its +5% on odd levels and +10% on even levels
    this is level 8 without 6pc chron (30%), laserholic (30%), automatic powered top (20%)

    Picked up a Boom & Boom from Epic Road on my M. Nen. My M. Launcher has okay-ish gear (3pc Quantum Theory, Swirling Spritual Power, Blood Treaty Boots, and Worshipful General's Textbook). Would this be a good choice for transfer?

    In my opinion, no. Boom&Boom is a DPS weapon where you mash Steyr off CD endlessly, which doesn't play into Anton meta or mesh well with the central idea of this being a burst focused class.
    Steyr setting made for some halfway decent Nugol times before I got better gear, but it doesn't cut muster for endgame. A Liberation would serve you better.
    If you don't care about Anton gearing, then yeah it's a good weapon to have fun with.
     
  6. How good is the genius posthumus work: handcannon? and which chrons should I get with this weap?

    From what I've heard, a Liberation cannon bests Posthumous Work due to higher base stats. I don't have one myself to verify, but eyeballing the two gives me the impression that it's true.

    The skill modifications on PW aren't stellar, so there's no point in building a chron set around it for endgame. Besides, MLauncher can't make good use of chrons for endgame anyway.

    If you want recommendations for chron sets that are good for farming OV/Ancients I can give opinions, but chrons are mostly for fun anway.
     
  8. Yeah please give advise on chrons best for farming, PW is just all ive got from epic road and I don't plan to go further than chrons on this char

    In that case these are three general options you can choose from:

    Sudden Annihilation 6pc: Focuses more on DPS and consistent damage through flamethrowers and gatling. For farming purposes this set is fine, but being more DPS oriented through channel skills will make clear times slower than the burst focused sets. Being 6pc though, so depending on other gears you may have, this ultimately has the chance of being your best bet anyway.

    Quantum Theory 6pc/9pc: Depending on the strength of your offslots, you can focus solely on the Laser parts of this set and build around it. I ran this as my 9pc of choice until I found good offslots. The 9pc Quantum bonus is very useful for farming though, don't discount it. You basically focus on bursting with Laser/Quantum with other skills thrown in between, it's fairly straightforward. One of the best things though is that these Light skills don't break freeze, so you can Arctic then unload Quantum + Laser to burst tricky targets without fearing knockdown, interruption, or retaliation.

    Saturation Bomb 9pc: Main appeal of this is Extruder spam. Grenade Launcher and Quantum boosts are great, but this set is through and through used for the Extruder power. I haven't actually used this set much personally since I hated Extruder before Concentrated Fire was introduced, but with the balance we have now this set is worth a look.

    Chron sets will generally perform for this class on an even level. Just pick whichever one appeals most to you.

    Also, there was (is going to be?) a change to both launchers on the live server today:
    * New Passive Dual-trigger additional
     35 levels can be acquired (learned 10 SP)
     - Master Level 1 skill
     - when people learn, the rise of low value to high value of the property enhanced hwasokseong

    * 신규 패시브 - 듀얼트리거 추가  
    - 35레벨 습득 가능 (습득 SP 10)  
    - 마스터 레벨 1 스킬  
    - 습득 시 명,화속성 중 높은 속성 강화값으로 낮은 값이 상승

    Possible fire conversion? The translation is really messy to me, but the skill maxes at 1, and I recognize 'hwasokseong' as the term google normally spits out for fire

    Lower value between Fire and Light Damage will be increased to match with the higher value of the other Damage.

    AH, thanks! That's a very welcome change! Finally Launcher's Fire/Light split-element issue has been addressed in a way that doesn't alienate one element over the other

    Also, this must mean Gracia 6pc will now be a very legit option

    • Laser duration has been decreased from 13.2 seconds to 8 seconds
      • Skill Attack Damage has been adjusted
    • Multi-hit Interval has been decreased from 300 to 200

    I noticed in raid tonight that Stinger gained super armor

    Anyone have any idea what patch that was bundled with in KR? I don't recall seeing mention of that anywhere recently
     
  19. Yup I noticed that too and I thought it was cause I was using trooper cannon. I'm not aware of any patch giving stinger super armor

    Yeah you're right, I was sitting around in swap gear waiting for Hatchery to open when I noticed it. Super cannon op
