    Is slow heal really worth maxing out? Now I've just started playing again since pre-metastasis, but I seem to recall that you only got slow heal to unlock other moves.

    Hammer of repentence is far from a useless skill, slow and fast heal are not must max skills and level 17 wall of deflection is kind of a waste of sp on a full support crusader.

    If you're going to use Slow Heal for the buff then 10 is enough because realistically you could only stack it 2 times.Not even OV warrants the use on many Slow Heal charges.

    You have a couple of spelling errors:
    inadvisability -> invincibility
    resistance -> repentance
    maybe more.

    Very true. Recently, I have only been using 1-2 slow heals on myself per OV (1-3.5 minute runs). However, depending on the party you might have to use Slow Heal for healing purposes because staying at 100% is a must if you are to fully utilize Aura of Conviction especially when Heaven's Melody gives ~3x HP/MP. Of course, you can just wait for Heaven's Melody to end, heal and recast, but that takes too long for me personally. To me, Slow Heal is a the primary SP dump after getting a value point in most skills. Also, Smasher, Pressure Wall, Phoenix Hammer, are definitely not worthless skills; Smasher is literally a 1 second stun + iframes on a lot of monsters, Pressure Wall is utility, Phoenix Hammer is iframes. Also the buff rotation is wrong.

    To me this guide looks like it was made by someone blindly following someone else's word without prior testing.

    Just pointing out that you have text color BBCode in the OP and its a bit harder to read on the Dark theme because of it.

    I leave mine at around 30 for the uses, I rarely run out, but if something bad happens and a run starts to last too long, you REALLY don't wanna run out of dat buff. Then again, I always stack twice, sometimes three because I can still milk a bit of Vit and Spirit out of a third (not much).
    I generally just use healing wind for heals should I need one. Which happens on occasion. Also... You're right, that buff rotation is wonky as hell .-.

    Ummm what do you need 30 uses of slow heal for, even at dark side i only use slow heal like 3 times. Having partymates that understand gimmicks and skip them really cuts down the need for more slow heal level.

    at level 33 Im getting 16 uses O.o which means 8 buff cycles maybe less (if I do a third heal) and on occasion, certain rooms in OV (namely Asteros) can have their skips go a bit wonky, and they wind up taking much longer than intended. Not to mention that if you get hit out of a slow heal (It's super rare, but it can happen) having a few back up uses is nice. Then again, I often ran with randoms, so perhaps I'm more prone to be on the side of caution. Besides, even with a Tactician's Contract I'm not dying for SP really.

    If you have 8 buff cycles that means you'd have to spend over 16 minutes in a dungeon to run out. If you runs are even nearing that amount of time, there's a big problem. 9 uses (the amount at level 10) means you can buff 4 times with a double stacked Slow Heal. And your runs really shouldn't be going over 8 minutes to begin with.

    Also stacking Slow Heal 3 times does virtually nothing. Even two is fairly weak.

    original:
    [IMG]
    one stack:
    [IMG]
    two stack:
    [IMG]
    three stack:
    [IMG]

    So the first use of Slow Heal gives you 328 spr/vit, 2nd use gives you a fairly small 52, and a 3rd use gives you a whopping 8. Waste of time.

    Oh, no I'm aware it does amazingly little, I just like it XD (I also get about 20 extra on my third buff, but that's neither here nor there). it seems harmless. And again, I ran with a lot of Randoms (before i found a consistent party) and they sometimes would take forever! Even so, I don't find myself in extreme disagreement here, I just think that having a few extra uses is nice for the reasons I've already listed (Interruptions, aesthetics, etc.) and one I didn't is people's deaths, which happen in OV sometimes when someone's being dumb (Seriously dude, the box was red >.> turn your friggin Indra passive off) I never find myself running out anymore, as having a consistent party helps, but accidents happen, and I've found myself using a couple more than 9 uses in a dungeon sometimes. Max is far too much, but I think there is some leeway in using slowheal as a SP dump.

    I dont just need more than 6 uses of Slow Heal unless someone fucks up the timing on Ozma.
