    Introduction
Hello guys, hope you are all having fun so far grinding away in DFO. I just want to make a quick guide for our beloved Vagabond as she is steadily getting stronger and stronger as the patches go by. In fact, after her recent rework with her Zanmai Evolution (Cleansing Fire), and Quint. Str. She is actually standing at quite a good spot among the classes right now. She has flashy skills, fluent combos, and a great early game if you just want to try her out. She is the only class in the game (beside some knight with might bosoms), to be able to carry two weapons! Here in this guide I will talk briefly about skills, gear selections, and how to run some of the current end game dungeons.

    Skills
Without 2nd Awakening, our little vagabonds really got ample SP to spend on her skills even with tacticians. The general rule is --- max the big skills and chose which little skill you enjoy the most. Also, I will be providing some numbers so you can see how much damage they actually do(All damage given after the cleansing fire sword skill buff). Shout out to my master in CDnF...I am stealing his materials and translating them. Thank you for your hard work >_<

[IMG] Op Skill that let you do a variety of things when you are struggling in dungeons. With the recent rework, you can stun/root/bleed/electrify anything that could is not status immune. Use the stun option to quickly wipe through ToD if you have trouble beating some floors.

[IMG] [IMG] Max this new skill option if you enjoy using them, it is a nice filler with okay damage for a little skill. The two kills, at lv.40, has a damage of 10750% and 12943%, respectively.

[IMG] Good damage at nice invincibility + grab. Problematic skill in party as it bounce the mobs up and sideways. 1 point for the utility and max if you love using it or you are running Ascension Set. At lv.37, the skill does 12688%

[IMG] Godly skill before rework, pretty clumsy at the moment. Very hard to aim and hit if not experienced. 1 or no point.

[IMG] If you enjoy playing the Jedi, then 1 point is enough

[IMG] Good filler skill with great range on both x and y axis. Max if you have left over SP. At lv.34 does 14914%

[IMG] Great skill for capturing unwilling mobs or run away bosses. 1 point is enough

[IMG] Fun skill that you can even use in air now! Great range and damage. With the confusion stats gone, now you don't have to worry about it sending all the mobs to the corner of the room. At lv.29 does 18880%. Max this

[IMG] A much neglected skill in the past but is actually quite good. The slashing speed scales with your attack speed. Super-armor for most of the duration. You can manually cast z early to do an awesome finish. At lv.19 does 29321%. Max this if you want to be able to draw a very cute flower while deleting the mobs.

[IMG] Cast the skill twice to instantly slam the ground. At lv.26 does 26334%. Max this

[IMG] This skill received so much love during the rework. Although still bit clumsy and hard to hit, it does a surprisingly high amount of damage.
At lv.26 does 42310% (42266% to ones cannot be grabbed). Max this.

[IMG] Still best skill in her kit no matter which OV set or Legacy or Epic set you are running. Great range and amazing damage. At lv.26 does 49072%. Max this for sure.

[IMG] The adopted child of the rework. At lv.17 does 38713%. You can control the range of this with arrow keys as you cast the skill. Forward key is medium range, up key is long range, and no key is short range. I would still suggest you max this because it is nonetheless a good skill that is a "let-go" skill.

[IMG] First slash give super armour while second slash is full invincibility. Great for grouping and skipping gimmicks. At lv.11 does 45525%. Although the damage is high, the skill is quite slow to finish and has a long-long cool down. Put 1 point for sure and max it if you like, but this is not a must.

[IMG] Max this no matter what, it buffs all your sword skills.

[IMG] Does tooooons of damage. Mesh x to spin faster and click c to instantly explode in their face.

    Gear Selections

As for this patch, you could actually have lots of options depending on how much effort you want to put into the game.
So here is a brief selection guide depending on the level of "interest".

A simple Lv.80 legacy set or Lv.80 Halidom set with a pink lightsabre would be much sufficient for you to run any normal dungeons. She face-rolls everything as long as you are not running on Slayer mode.

You would want to strive for the OV sets that are found in the OV3 dungeons (guide provided). Start by finding some random parties at Ch.50 and begin to work your way into the OV world. Your goal should be a full set of Humble Masters and a full set of Ascension. The first set let you run OVs like a breeze while you one-shot everything with a screen-wide Buddha Palm. The latter give you much ease while running all other end game dungeons such as Requiems. Your other choice would be to go for a full set of Lv.85 Halidom + quest legendarily. You will be surprised about the stats it grants when you have a five piece armor set and the bonus stats. At the moment most Lv.85 Halidoms are untradable so their prices are quite inflated. You could wait until CoD come out and you can use Data Chips to make you own Halidoms.

Run that hell mode and get all the shinning epics. You goal for armour should be the following (ranked by damage, roughly)

Tactical Set- 55% additional damage in a full party with +500 Str. party buff
Dark Gothic - Insane dark damage buff. Need good amplification to be effective since it is cloth armour. Also need to stack dark resist.
Assassin's Creed - 35% additional damage, +18% attack damage, +15% crit damage. Great set, but hard to optimize
Magic Cataclysm - +25% additional damage. +10% attack damage. The highlight is the CD reduction. This set lacks burst

Your goal for accessories should be the following (not ranked)

Cold Princess Set - +138 Water damage, +18% additional damage. Great set as long as you are not running Dark Gothic
Chaos Stone Set - +20% additional Damage, +12 all element damage, +20% attack damage. Must reset key bind to use
Assassin's Ring - +7% crit chance, +Crit damage by HP.
Razor Queen Necklace - +20% attack damage. Watch out as +% attack damage does not stack
Demon Soul Gloves - Provide +156 Physical attack.
Time Traveller's Pocket Watch - Best Sub-Equip at the moment for Vagabond (replaced by Anton Sub)
Dethroned King's Tear - +15% additional damage. Find it, keep it, and keep it forever

Human Sinew Bracelet - Net around +7% damage. It may not seem much but this does not come into conflict with anything
King's Relic Bracelet - Get from running dailies in King's Relic. +10% attack damage, +5% Crit damage. Great substitute if you lack epics
Reshpon Ring - Get from running dailies in Reshpon. +12% attack/move speed at +10 reinforcement. Run and attack like the wind
Grave Digger Ring - +10% additional damage when you have 100M gold. Not a bad investment really.
Corrupt Heart - +40 all element damage. Find it, keep it, and don't sell it
Mech Taul's Heart/Delezie's Tongue - Grant +physical damage. Good investment if you are still farming hell runs.

I put this last because...well...as a Vagabond, you should really be picking the prettiest sword rather than the best one right?
For the most part, LS give you around -25% CD over a Zanbato while Zanbato provide extremely high raw damage.
So first of all you have to make a choice as for which one do you favor? Big Skill room clear or flowery fluent combos?
If you are not going to invest deeply into the character, go for a Lv.80 or Lv.85 pink LS or Zan. This will keep you suited for most maps.
If you are planning to run Req and OVs. Then try to make a Liberation LS or Zan. At the same time, don't forget to get a Gracia LS during the process as it is a great option for you off-hand (great base stats)
Don't use the OV weapons as they generally suck and don't offer much to your kit.
If you are looking for a Epic Weapon, well, you should be going for the following (ranked roughly)
    1. Balmug / Byeollungum
    2. Yang Sword
    3. Light Swrod Masamune
Anything after these are about the same. With Queen of Pain will make you attack like the wind and Devil Flare / Flame Sword to be a good fire damage weapon. You can also try out Yin Sword as it actually does some very good damage as well.
(Don't use that Yang Sword as it is wayyyy to ugly for anything)
    Otherverse 3
    Room 1
Clear however you want, beware of the bleed from the evil fairy. It hurts a lot.

    Room 2
Hit the box repeated by tapping x. Don't use the full x-string as attacking the box too fast will actually slow it down. Attack from the Green body trainer (even the stun attack) could be blocked by sword barrier and your zanmai evolution will take care of the stun. You can also use a Sader assist to get him to repent for his careless workouts. Make sure to let him hit the red box as the hammer itself will not kill him but the damage reflection will.

    Room 3
Grab the guy with Cross Sword about 2.5 seconds after his second line appears. If he manages to escape into the green man's fart and turns yellow, catch him with sword wheel when he turns black again and proceed to beat him up. WARNING: only catch him when he turns from yellow to black, not purple to black as it will still reflect damage.

    Room 4
Slap the plant master in the face with Buddha Palm and proceed to clear the blue wisps. Better clear the wisps before attacking him as wisps grants him extra armor + heal + poison. Also stand in the aura in the middle to reduce poison charges on your head

    Room 5
Move down the second row immediately after entering and Comet Rush the two guys on the bottom into astral voids. Then move to top right and kill him with Buddha Palm. Now you can finish the last guy on your own time. WARNING: do not use soaring because it will randomly bounce the mobs to a magical place.

    Boss
Stand about 3 - 4 squares away as the bar finish reading for phase one. Throw Buddha Palm followed immediately by Comet Rush to burst him down when there is about 0.5 seconds left on the bar. If that fails, you can do this again for the following phases. If all else fails, well, beat him up in an one-sided battle in the final phase to vent your anger.

    Room 1
Clear quickly, don't get fried by the red dragon as leather armor catches on fire easily.

    Room 2
Stand still as you entered the room. Wait until he says "Who are you?" and immediately answer by slapping him in the face with a Buddha Palm. Afterwards dont cube at all and use Cutting Palm to show his scales are actually made in China. Use quick rebound or sword barrier to block the roar.

    Room 3
Buddha followed immediately by Comet rush to show her who is boss. Then the cursed member must kill the two little ones without hitting the Black witchdoctor. Beware, the curse is contagious and will be transferred by contact.

    Room 4
Be nice to your teammates and burst the Yoga Master as he implodes into a ball of light.

    Room 5
Use Comet Rush to transfer the ice ring to discipline the angry dragon. Use Buddha and Cutting Palm to return him to the ashes. Don't use holds/stun/freeze as it will make the dragon dislike you and become invincible.

    Boss
Turn up the heat with your awakening as he snaps the glass of Bourbon and mesh x. Don't fail the DDR and he will become Bakal- the roasted chicken

    Room 1
Turn these ugly creature into a seafood platter

    Room 2
Use your Blazing Palm and hope it hits (this skill is always buggy). Use Buddha Palm - Comet Rush - Cross Sword combo after he teleported to deal massive damage. Hint: Skytree nut can break tentacle hentai

    Room 3
Break the armor, take the ghost and give him a good beating. Beware of the ground as some hot lava is looking to get you under your skirt. (I know all your pervs have the beach set)

    Room 4
Cross Sword immediately once you are in the room and volley her with Comet-Buddha-Blazing-Soaring. Cast your awakening if she gets out of her purple shell. Don't forget to pose for the picture of you do get groped by some unfriendly hands. Hint: Cross Sword give the best effect

    Room 5
Buddha in his face or back as he put his cross down into the ground. The delayed damage will immediately summon an angel. Be cautious of the hammer and point-target-nukes.

    Boss
Upon entering the room, immediately eat a Remy or one of those thousands of consumables you got from the Lost Treasure. Use rapid attacks to break Ozama's armor and began flaying him when he coward into a ball. As the cool down on the consumable is about the finish or just finished, Cross Sword at the same moment to skip the betrayal phase. Be careful of this as if you miss, your Cross Sword will land on the OV Knower or one of your unfortunate teammates

    Requiem Dungeon
If you see the huge aura on the ground, make sure you stand in it while doing damage to the mobs. Its like a time bomb that begin ticking when you are not standing on top of it. When the timer runs out, it will summon Time Nymar which is a huge beefy doctor that will immediately heal all the mobs to full. So make sure you don't let that happen. In most cases, you can just stand on the aura and let the mob come to you, or grab them with Sword Wheel for a close beating.

    Room 1
Catch the sneaky rat with soaring and teach him how to fight like a true warrior

    Room 2
Buddha Palm as they come out of the woodworks and use awakening after to show them who is hotter

    Room 3
Comet rush + Buddha Palm to eliminate them instantly if both come out to be blue. If not, you can trap one in the right corner by luring him there and quickly get out. Then finish them one by one. Hint: Oppressive Force does not reflect damage even if it it a red one

    Room 4
Constantly move up and down and side to side while evading lightnings. Dont get stunned and try to face away from the knights. Use Sword Wheel and Cross Sword to group them and eliminate them at once

    Room 5
Zanmai Evolution will save you once, sparkling world will save you for ten seconds. Best the ice guy senseless as you are status immune.

    Boss
    A giant punching bag

    Room 1
Beat these disgusting knights up while avoiding their attacks. Staying on the y axis and attack them instead of in a straight line. Burn them up after as they beg for their life

    Room 2
Move a few steps down to avoid obstacles and use tri-slash to cover distance then Cross Sword to hold the witch doctor before he can start chanting. If that fails, use everything you got to beat on all the mobs. Although they keep on summoning, the mobs are pretty weak
    Room 3
Blazing Palm after you line up with all the mob, this should clear them up. Follow up with Cutting Palm to burn them to ashes

    Room 4
This little rat is after your breasts. He will eat any buff you got including your Quin. Str. Use soaring immediately after he finish his pedophile business with Pete and follow up with Comet Rush, Cross Sword, and Buddha Palm to make sure he return to the ground before he can do anything.

    Room 5
Get your self low before entering the room. Loiter around while avoiding black vortex until the purple ghost began channeling. After he replenishes your health out of good manner for a lady, give him a coup de grace like the gentle men he deserves. As for the other one, use melee attack when he is yellow and ranged attacks when he is red.

    Boss
Demon slash is a epic skill. Use it to turn the boss to be immune to dark element and proceed to punch him in the face. If he turns into a Tornado, use Buddha Palm - Cutting Palm- Awakening to establish dominance. Watch for the wind flow as it will turn you into a ugly zombie

I personally hate this the most...but...well, lets get started

    Room 1
Enjoy this easy room while it lasts...beat up these puppets.

    Room 2
Two ways you can do this. One is to wait all four to spawn and group them and kill them at once with Cross-Sword - Buddha Palm - Comet Rush. the other is to stand in the middle when they spawn one by one and take them out. I suggest use the latter approach if you are well geared and do tons of damage. Use the first option if you lack a bit of burst and need to group them to avoid high CD gaps. Watch for their death rattles as these buggers does not like to stay dead.

    Room 3
Clear these ugly Mermaids as you enter the room. Watch out for their super-armor as you will soon realize that even the ugliest rose has thorns. As you enter the next area, don't stare into them as you engage these spirits. You can also send them a warm regard from Buddha himself before you step onto the deck. Then beat up that Conductor as he is a standing sandbag. Make sure to stay on his dark aura as you dance with four generations of spirits.

    Room 4
Go straight in between the hunchbacks and the gargoyles as you enter the place. Blow you awakening for an easy clear. Us soaring and Cross Sword to clear out any stragglers who refuse to turn their back to you. Then move on to Captain Saaz as he summons bunch of ravens. Beat them up smoothly as they do not pose as a great threat. Beware that our ghostly captain is fully invincible when he strips is coat and is summoning. So don't blow your skill onto him until that is finished.

    Boss
The longest and hardest boss fight of all...Buddha and Blazing Palm immediately as you enter the room to do some damage. Essentially, this boss will go underground as he detects a cube skill, but the catch is, it has a cool down. So what you want to do is to trick him to go underground with a weaker cube and hit him hard with other ones when he come out from the ground. You do, however, have to dodge his attacks as they hurt a lot a a lot.

Under-Fist : Run around like crazy and use rebound if you are hit to stall.
Ghost-Train : Constantly pay attention to the ground and do not stand on the same x-axis as the black shadow as girls do not like ghosts
Roar : Only jump when you see the sound wave come out from his mouth rather than the beginning of the animations
Pillar Shield : Break as soon as possible with Explosive Sword or Buddha Palm. Could also use Oppressive Force if it is strong enough
Dive : Walk around constantly to avoid being hit. Remember Floo is fully invincible during his first resurface. Don't try to hit him as it will not work

More Guides coming in the futre

    2nd Awakening
The Vagabond Second Awakening is going to bring us many things, and all of them buff us one way or another.
    (ranked by importance):
    1. Great and beautiful Splash Art
    2. Amazing Second Awakening Name (Hopefully)
    3. Stylish in town idle animations
    4. Overall Damage buff via Second Awakening passive
Friendly Reminder that all the skill name translations are provided by me...so.... don't take them seriously
[IMG] Transcendence (75): at Lv.6 buff all sills by 28% (+2% each level) Best skill everrrr

All Following Numbers given after +40% damage from Zanmai Evolution and +28% from Transcendence:

[IMG] Lotus Dance (75): Full duration Super-Armour. Can be cast during back-step and mid-air. At Lv.9 does 90008%

[IMG] Sakura's End (75):Super-Armour on cast and Invincible for vanished duration (1.5s). At Lv.6 does 91500%

[IMG] Flowers of the Moon (85): Full duration invincibility. Best skill (dance) in the game. At total of 24 hits and at Lv.3 does 227789%

If you can see here, the buff to Vagabond is actually quite huge after 2nd Awakenings. The reason for this is because she is considered one of the weakest class in all of DFO, damage wise, before her recent rework. Hence, the designers purposefully made couple of changes so she is viable in the later dungeons. (Hail Anton!) After 2nd Awakening, you could expect Vagabond to be pretty strong overall and will dish out a fair share of damage if geared properly.

    4 men Anton + Reinforcement Tickets/Events
With respect to the 4 men Anton that is going to be coming out in April, I suggest if you are thinking about running them, you better begin preparing right around now. Contrary to common belief, the 4 men Anton is actually much less gear reliant than skill reliant. There is videos and instructions in CDnF at the moment where you could run all of these new dungeons with a full set of Lv.85 Halidom (no amp) gear + accessories + Halidom weapon. To me, the learning curve for Anton 4-men is not incredibly difficult but it still exist nonetheless. Hence, if you want to run it fluently and be prepared for the Anton raid, I suggest you practice a ton by yourself. I will be updating detailed guides and videos (hopefully) when the dungeons actually come out in DFO.

As for the Reinforcement Events that is coming out, I strongly urge you to take advantage of it before it ends. After all, Vagabond is a percent class and is heavily reliant on its weapon. You may not need a +15 like a Ranger but a +12 is certainly better than a +10. In fact, it would be best if you could get your Lib. or Epic weapon to +12 during this event since the ticket pretty much, if you are lucky, provide you with a free pass. At least, try to get a +11 because it will make your life infinitely easier. In the end, it is still much cheaper than to grind hell....

Some Thoughts About Anton Raid and the future
If you are preparing for Anton, I suggest you begin by running some these Req dungeons, because, believe it or not, skill and proficiency does factor a lot. After Second Awakening, it is possible to run in Anton Raid with a Vagabond without a full Epic Set. You do however, one, need to be extremely familiar and good at running the normal 4 men Anton, and have a fully amplified/enchanted Ascension sets + Epic/Legendary Pieces. Remember, not everyone in Anton raid is the main DPS. You don't need to be discouraged if you can't be the guy carrying the entire team forward, but you need to make sure that you are not the one dragging everyone behind. In the end, the requirements for Anton are not hard to meet if you really love the class and if you don't....well....you may have the chance of switching to a class that you love when LV.86 opens >_<.
You can always find me in game if you love to party with me for Req or OV.

    Thanks for Reading

Lol @ the I want to be like Lifting senpai, I am still hunting that tactical and mana vortex :) but good guide hopefully this will help any new vagabond players also we get kinda nerfed again when we get 2ND awakening. Fluttering blade is buggy af and you can abuse it with the Ov set but they of course remove that making that set usless.

you forgot about mana vortex that set has a lot of burst due to the cd reduction it gives. This set is good because Vagas have very long cd and this set helps the class spam her high end cube skills more often.

Another good set is the lvl75 light armor chaos set. That set alone gives +75% attack damage its a very good set that people underlook.

With Tactical you would want Byeoll because the set gives you a lot of hitrate and balmung with dark gothic unless you can find pluto core lvl75 sub equipment then you can use byeoll with brutal Configuration accessory set from anton. You can even use dank sword ganja with tactical for raids with another yin user and do crazy damage.

Thanks for this guide. I remade my F.Slayer into a Vagabond earlier today, and was wondering what to do once I get to endgame. This answered pretty much all my questions. o/

here's a tip i can add to your list of tips
when you enter floo do as you state and use buddah+blazing palm. when he puts up his shield use your awakening. the spinning fire will break his pillars and he'll get hit by the explosion. if you are strong enough he will then put up another shield again. for the 2nd set of pillars if buddah and comet rush, explosive sword, or blazing palm are off cd you can buddah palm through the last pillar and immediately use the 2nd cube before the pillar breaks to hit him with the full dmg from the explosion of buddah palm and the 2nd cube skill. to do this properly you need tpo position yourself at a distance where the buddah palm will strike through the pillar and explode on him but be far enough where you ahve time to use the 2nd cube before buddah breaks through the pillar. not sure if atk speed helps to make this easier but i have 114%~125% attack speed if it matters. for me he usually dies at this point but you can proceed however you wish thereafter if he's still alive and kicking

In your post about weapons and there ranks I did tests with weapons a +11 byeoll amped out damages a +12 balmung reinforced and Yang is stronger then all the weapons with another yin user. I would not bother with masamune yes you get a lot of crit bonuses but you can always wear assassin blade and get the same stats.

So in terms of raid/anton weapon would be
Yang with a Yin user / Byeollungum / balmung / flare devil

In the terms of solo runs maybe like anton normals solo or requium
Byeollungum / balmung / yang / flare devil

I personally would not touch a katana just because there base states are too low. I believe a requium zanbato is better then a katana with assassin blade of course.

Flare devil is a really good weapon for anton. For some odd reason most of the monster's in anton are registered as human and demon and flare devil effect gives +35% more fire dmg to demon monsters.

This is opinion based but I would rather have general textbook then time travellers sub stone only because more damage. In my build I max basic training because 30% more damage on x string. So if I get general textbook that's +1 tp to all tp skills that have a level so you get an additional 10% to basic training damage and you get +1 tp to your cube skills increasing there damage and also giving you more layaway with tp. Think about it this way you have +5 tp on blazing Palm with general textbook that makes it +6 so you can remove a level and relocate the 2 tp on another skill increasing it's damage further on top of the general textbook level. To me this is better than time travelers I know that time travelers gives +1 to all skills but you can always use the lvl60-70 Sunstone to swap for quintuple.

the point of time travellers isn't simply for the skills though lifting. it's to help the CD problem that vagabond has. then on top of that it adds to the both awakening passives along with every single skill outside of the 85 giving her an overall damage boost to everything

That is a small damage buff compared to the 10% I would be receiving on multiple skills and if I am rotating my skills around that adds up to more damage plus we will always have long CD unless you are wearing full mana vortex and even then vagabonds damage is not that great. So we would always use out skills then x string into more combos as we wait for the CDs so why not buff your x string by 10% then when you get you cube skills that is essentially more damage I am not saying that time travelers is bad its a good sub stone non the else but if you want raw damage to add to say Dark Gothic set or even tactical with full amnesia or cold princess and a dethroned tear then yea you would want something like generals textbook to increase that damage and one shot rooms.

+1 will give a 2-3% damage increase across the board for each skill, and you should get 1-3% increased skill damage each from quint strength and the two awakening passives, if not more. I'm pretty sure the damage boost ends up being comparable or greater than the TP book plus the skill resets. My friend has silver watch on vagabond so I can run some testing with it later.

  14. For the record your Percents are Adversely wrong
All Following Numbers given after +40% damage from Zanmai Evolution
What is zanmai evolution because if thats qigong its only 10% for zan
Secondly If its the first awakening passive that doesnt give 40% damage it gives roughly 1000 str/ 20% attack /move speed . If you +10 the passive.
When your talking in the real of 100k%+ on skills you start going beyond damage of elementalist

Since I would defintly like to know where your getting your information
The 28% from the second awakening passive i can see the math behind that but the other 40% What passive or skill that applies this, or set. that makes this possible

because playing with the skill tree builder on cdnf

I dont see how your getting 40%

You would be correct in that Yang does become super strong when you have a team member with Yin sword. The issue with that is you have to run with fire/light damage with Yang Sword in order to further buff it more. Remember, Anton has pretty good resistances against those two elements. It also makes you unable to use the Snow Princess Epics Sets (sad >_<)
Byeollungum goods better than Balmug on paper but its actually the reverse. For a few reasons:
    1. You have to stack hit rate in order for it to work (+15%). This will take important slots such as weapon enchantment and avatar emblems.
    2. Zanbato by itself has slower attack speed, which affects the flow of all Vagabond skills, especially Comet Rush and Illustration Slash (the flower one)
    3. LS overall provides decreased CD with your passive that comes around -30% compared to a Zanbato

Hey. Sorry if the language I use is causing a bit of confusion...I am really bad with remembering the actual skill names in game >_<. Forgive me
I am actually taking about the skill "Cleansing Fire" that is the Vagabond passive for 1st Awakening.
If you look at the simulator you provided carefully, that skill is actually reworked during the so called 1.5 awakening phase of the F. Slayers
The skill no long give the +Str. upon activation but provide a steady damage increase to all sword skills for a Vagabond.
In fact, in the link you provided, which you kindly leveled that skill up to Lv.15 (max with contract), it already grant a flat +37% percent damage increase.
I think I currently have it around Lv.17 which give +39% increase in game. Hence, I don't think its totally unreasonable to reach a +40% damage increase
(Remember the calculations are done in CdnF, which has some insane skill beads that buff things up quickly)

Also, for you info. The Zanbato option of the Qi-Gong Yang, only seems to apply to 10% to x-strings, not skills. I am not 100% sure about this but I think this is how it is designed.
As for the numbers you asked, here is the math.
For Second Awakening Active, at Lv.2, according the link you provide, it does
    2432% per small attack
    51076% for finish
The skill does 23 small attacks total which comes to 55936%
Add the two together you get 107012%
    Count all the buffs (1.28, 1.4) = 191765%
This number is for this skill at Lv.2, which is the max you can reach with a contract.
The number I give in the example is Lv.3 which is one you can reach with the "Lucky character Buff" in CdnF during the testing.

Hope this makes things a bit clearer.
All numbers used are from the link you give in you post >_<

  17. Its actually a flat strenght increase for her first awakening passive as far as the changes. with someone on cdnf who made that passive +10 beyond the 15 which was level 25 of the buff it gave them 1100 strengh after each point increased reduces the cooldown of the skill and i beleive they get around 20% move and attack speed as far as the percent. Reason being is watching a specific cdnf vagabond stacking the awakeing passive to give it the crazy gains that it was built around. I can assure you that its not 40% damage increase. unless of course 1100 strength is 40% more damage.

The first awakening passive increases our sword skill damage by around 40%.
BEFORE the All-in-One patch, the first awakening passive had the Strength buff that you're referring too, but it no longer does now.

Man.... I would like to be as polite as possible here...but you sir is simply stupid..
I would highly suggest you go into the game now and see the description of the skill.
I don't care if you play DFO, CdnF, KdnF, I am 100% certain that they all show +% sword damage increase.
May be you are a time traveller living still in 2015...but boy..please check your sources carefully before making allegations.
Even using the link you provided in the previous reply, (I assume you read Chinese), it even said +% sword damage.
I don't know if you are just messing with me or what...
But please check and read carefully before coming in and bombarding my post with non-sense.
I appreciate reasonable discussions, but not childish stubbornness.

Just as a side note. If you watch closely in Cdnf or Kdnf Vagabond Anton solo (4-men) videos.
The only reason they step in the fire to proc the Cleansing Fire is because although the +% is always active
The boost to AS/MS is not.
They use it to activate the speed bonus ONLY
